This week I will show you self-adjustment techniques to lower high blood pressure and vertigo. I will be following the steps found in this book called Instant Adjustment. The techniques are developed by Dr. Shigemitsu Sasaki in Japan. He says that high blood pressure and vertigo are usually affected by a distortion of the thoracic spine.
check the mobility of your upper body
First, let’s check the mobility of your upper body. Sit in a chair with knees together. This will lock the pelvis. Weave your fingers and put your hands behind your head. Slowly turn your torso to one side and to the other side and determine which side is harder to turn.

If it was harder to turn to your left

If it was harder to turn to your left, lie on your back and slowly open your legs wide. Turn the left foot inward, lift the heel 2 inches or 5 cm off the floor. Hold it for 5 seconds.

1, 2, 3, 4, 5. And drop the heel on the floor. Take three breaths and repeat two more times. Turn the left foot inward. Lift the heel 2 inches off the floor. Hold it for 5 seconds. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. And drop the heel by letting it go. Take three breaths. 1, 2, 3. And repeat one more time. Turn the left foot inward. Lift the heel 2 inches. Hold for 5 seconds. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. And let go.
If it was harder to turn to your right

If it was harder to turn to your right, do this on the right side. Lie on your back and slowly open your legs wide. Turn the right foot inward. I have a tight ankle so this is as far as it can go. Lift the heel 2 inches or 5 cm off the floor. Hold it for 5 seconds. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. And drop the heel on the floor. Take three breaths and repeat two more times. Turn the right foot inward. Lift the heel 2 inches off the floor. Hold it for 5 seconds. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. And drop the heel by letting it go. Take three breaths. And repeat one more time. Turn the right foot inward. Lift the heel 2 inches. Hold for 5 seconds. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. And let go.

Check your blood pressure or how you are feeling with vertigo now. If you see an improvement, maybe they were caused by the thoracic spine distortion. If so, do this once a day to re-adjust your body on a regular basis.
