It is the end of the year. This week I’m going to show you a Japanese bath recipe with nuka or rice bran because you so deserve a nice long bath to reward yourself of the hard work all year and take away the stress and get ready for a new year with beautiful skin.
I have 3 cups of rice here. Wash the rice and instead of draining the water, save it in a bowl. Repeat several times. For this you have to use rice that’s polished or partially polished to get the nuka from washing. Unpolished brown rice doesn’t produce the nuka from just washing. Also use organic because you will be soaking the entire body and I bet you don’t want to soak in a pesticide bath. I’m using 50% polished organic rice.
Nuka has various vitamins, minerals and anti-oxidants that help to hydrate the skin, increase the elasticity and reduce wrinkles, and lighten up the skin tone by slowing the melanin production.
The washed rice goes into the rice cooker. I’m going to clean up the top with a strainer because it doesn’t look good.
Simply mix the nuka water in the tub. As you can see nuka sinks to the bottom. You can save some and use it as a scrub on hard surfaces such as heels and elbows. You can also use nuka just for your face. I will put the link to that video on that topic.
After taking the bath my skin was smooth and hydrated. I highly recommend you try this. My rice is ready too.
Thanks for watching. I’ll see you back next week. Make it a great week. Feel free to comment below and please don’t forget to subscribe. And have a Happy New Year!
