This week I’m going to show you the third and final portion of the flow of my Shiatsu Swedish Massage. Sorry about the noise. I’m travelling right now.
Adjust the bolster so it’s under the knees. I put the neck pillow and cover their eyes.
Say hi to the left leg. Drape professionally. Tuck so the client feels secure. Swedish Massage the left leg with gliding strokes starting from the front thigh or quadriceps. Massage the knee. Then massage the shin and calf muscles. Finish the left leg by working on the foot. Put the top sheet back on. Do some acupressure points on the leg. Put the top cover back on.
Repeat the leg sequence on the right side. Say hi to the right leg. Drape professionally. Swedish Massage the right leg by doing effleurage to spread the oil. Then work on the quads. Massage the knee. Then massage the shin and calf muscles. Work on the right foot. Put the top sheet back on. Do some acupressure points. Put the top cover back on.
Next is the right arm. Drape so the arm is exposed from the shoulder. Spread the oil to the entire arm. Then glide outer forearm. Do some acupressure points. Flip open the arm and work on the inner forearm by gliding from the wrist to the elbow. Anchor the elbow and work on the biceps with some kneading and gliding. Change the angle of the arm and do some more kneading and gliding. Press on the shoulder.
Step back and work on the palm. Do some gliding and pressing with the thumbs. Glide the fingers. Flip the hand and work on the top of the hand starting from the wrist. Work on the wrist. Glide the fingers and bend the hand both ways.
Move to the left side. Spread the oil to the entire arm. Swedish Massage starting from outer forearm. Do some acupressure points. Inner forearm. Biceps. Shoulder. Come down to the hand. Top of the hand.
Sit by the receiver’s head. Spread the oil below the clavicle. Swedish Massage below the collarbone with fingers. Do some acupressure points.
Apply the oil on the neck and shoulders. Knead the trapezius. Glide the neck with hands. Glide the neck with fingers. Work on the base of the skull. Do some acupressure points. Turn the neck to the left side. Work on the right side of the neck. Turn the neck to the right side. And work on the left side of the neck. Turn the head back to the center.
Do some acupressure points. Do the scalp massage by pressing fingers on the meridians. And circling and gliding.
Do the face massage by gliding fingers on the forehead. Work on the temples. Do some acupressure points around the eyes and cheeks. Work on the jaw muscles. Finish with the third eye point.
