Few weeks ago, I showed you my flow of Swedish Shiatsu Massage. This week I’m going to show you the second part.
Next, I work on the arm with gliding strokes. Some compressions and acupressure. Then some hand. Come back and do acupressure points around the shoulder blade. And upper back.
Repeat on the other side. I usually start from the left side then do the right side because that’s how I learned in school.
Finish up with effleurage, put the top sheet, and cross stretch lower back and upper back on one side. Then the other side. Rock the spine and stretch the sacrum. Put the top cover.
Then move onto the glutes. Remove the top cover around the glutes and massage the glutes over the sheet.
Moving onto the leg. Give some compressions. Uncover the leg. Professionally drape. At work it’s very modest. Do Swedish massage using the lubricant starting with effleurage to spread the oil. Work on the hamstrings, and calf muscles. Do some acupressure points in the back of the leg. Work on the feet. Put the top sheet and compress or knead. Put the top cover.
Repeat the glutes and leg sequence on the other side starting with the glutes. Moving onto the leg. Give some compressions. Drape and Swedish Massage hamstrings with the lubricant. Swedish Massage calf muscles. Work on the foot. Do some acupressure points in the back of the leg. Put the top sheet and compress or knead. Put the top cover.
Then have the client slide down so their head is on the table. And have them turn around and face up.
Thanks for watching. I’ll see you back next week. Make it a great week. Feel free to comment below and please don’t forget to subscribe.
