This week I’m going to show you an advanced technique to stretch someone’s neck in side laying position.
Sit next to the receiver laying on a side. Grab the receiver’s shoulder by putting your arm through the receiver’s top arm. Find the base of the skull and place your thumb. Tell the receiver to take a deep breath and as you exhale together, lean backward as you pull the receiver’s shoulder. Do this on different locations on the base of the skull. Neck is a sensitive area so start with light pressure and gradually add the pressure by leaning back more.
Base of the skull is an attachment site for lot of the neck muscles and it is helpful to release the attachment site.
