This week I’ll show you how to massage your partner’s hip area sideways.
Sit next to the receiver lying on a side with the bottom leg straight and top leg bent at the hip and the knee. Locate the big bone at the top of the thigh. Massage around the big bump with closed fingertips. Double up your hand for more stability and strength.

If that’s not enough pressure for the receiver, use the base of the palm to press and circle.

If and only if the receiver wants more pressure, use your forearm to do the same.

This should be helpful after a long walk or run. This is often a neglected area that can contribute to a lower back pain so don’t forget to give some love in this area.
