Are you feeling hot lately? I mean from hot flashes? There are many acupressure points that are good for hot flashes and the side effects of the hot flashes. Today I’ll show you three acupressure points that are good for hot flashes.
K1: The first one is on the sole of your foot. It’s called Kidney 1 and it’s in the depression in the middle of two pads of the foot. You can follow the edge of the ball and it’s where it changes color. You can press this point for one minute as you breathe slowly and deeply. I like to use hooked thumb because it’s easier on your thumb.
K27: The next one is on your chest under the collar bone next to the breast bone. It’s called Kidney 27. It’s located below the protrusion of your collar bone. It’s in the depression underneath right next to the breast bone. You will feel a distinct sensation when you press the right point. You can press this point or press and circle, or tap this point for one minute as you breathe slowly and deeply.
LI4: The last one is on your hand. When you close your thumb and index finger there is a crease. Press the end of the crease against the base of the index finger bone. I like to use a hooked thumb on this point. This is called Large Intestine 4. This point should not be touched if you are pregnant but then if you’re having hot flashes I guess you don’t have to worry about pregnancy. Make sure why you’re not having period lately. Again as you breathe deeply and slowly press this point for one minute and switch side.
