In the past I’ve shown you how to use your knee to massage your leg. Today I’m going to show you how to use your heel to massage your leg.

Caution: If you have varicose veins or blood clots, please do not do this!!

First sit or lay on the floor or bed. To massage the shin muscle, extend the leg and use the heel of the other leg to glide up and down the shin muscle along the shin bone. You can also press and circle the shin muscle with the heel.

To massage the calf muscle, bend the leg and put the knee on the floor. Use the arch of the foot and heel of the other leg to knead up and down the calf muscle. You can also glide up and down. Why not massage the arch of the other foot too because it feels good.
