How to massage with thumbs when the receiver wants deeper massage
This week I’ll show you how you can dig in with your thumbs. This works on the areas where you can grab the other side with the other fingers to anchor and bring the skin and muscles to leverage the press with your thumbs.
For example, the sole of the foot, shin, IT Band, arm, and shoulder. You can put one hand on each shoulder or put two hands on one shoulder if the space allows. Put the thumbs next to each other for more stability.
This is a pretty strong stuff so try it on yourself first and if you try it on your partner, start light and gradually increase the pressure.
