How to massage back | Back press variations
This week I’ll show you a variation on the back press targeting the muscles next to the spine.
Have the receiver lie on the floor face down. Locate the spine because you never want to press on the spine. The first way is to put your hands next to each other and press the muscles next to the spine down and slightly away from the spine. Relax your hands and use your body weight to increase the pressure if the receiver wants more pressure.
The second way is to alternate hands as you lead with one hand and chase with the other hand as you go up and down.
The third way is to also alternate hands but have one hand on the lower back right above the hip bone as the other hand goes up and down. Try this if the partner wants more attention on the lower back. Rock your body to save your hands.
