This week I will show you hand reflexology for headaches. I will cover both migraine and tension headache.
We will focus on eyestrain which can be the cause of both kinds of headaches. Eyestrain can also cause tightness in neck and shoulders as well as stress and anxiety. So this will help your tired eyes too.
The first one is Liver.

In Chinese Medicine, they say Liver’s energy is tied to eyes. The reflex for liver is located below the ring finger on the right hand. Do this only on your right hand because your liver is located mostly on your right side.
Come down the ring finger and go over the bone bump. Hook your left thumb and press firmly for 7 seconds. And release.
The second one is lymph in neck.

Do this if you have tension headache. Put your hand on a stable surface like a table or your lap. Spread your fingers a little bit. Using the three fingers, firmly press and glide the area between the bones 7 times at one second per pace. Repeat on the other hand.
The third one is the interbrain reflex in the middle of your thumb.

Do this if you have migraines. Press it against the tip of the index finger joint for 7 seconds. And release. Repeat on the other side.
I also have a video on acupressure for headache here.
