Happy New Year! I hope you had wonderful holidays. New Year means it’s a time for New Year’s Resolution. I have a feeling that there are many people out there whose New Year’s Resolution is to lose weight including myself. I cannot believe ever since I hit menopause my body stopped metabolizing. It feels like everything I eat becomes me.
This week I will show you ear reflexology to lose weight by controlling appetite.
Do these 15 minutes before you eat.
The first two points are must.

The first one is called Shin Mon. It’s located in the upper ear inside the Y-junction. Pinch this point one side at a time or on both sides for 1 minute. Once you know the location, you can use a tip of a pen to press these points too.

The second one is a Hunger Point located in the middle of the tragus, a small flap of cartilage in the front. Pinch the Hunger Point one side at a time or on both sides for 1 minute.

The next ones are additional points depending on your condition.
If you tend to eat for stress, massage the back of the outer edge of the ear from the top to bottom for 1 minute.

If you tend to eat aimlessly, put your finger in the ear and press down for 1 minute.

If your metabolism has slowed down (that’s me!) put your finger in the depression at the bottom and press down for 1 minute.

You can press these points not just 15 minutes before you eat but also after you eat and throughout the day.
A Japanese acupuncturist conducted a test on 500 people with this method. In one month, most people lost the average of 3.6 kg or 7.9 lbs and 5.4 cm or 2.1 in off the waist. I hope it works for you too!
