This week I’m going to show you the acupressure points to stop hiccups.
天突 (CV 22) – The first one is right above the sternum in the middle. Slightly hook your finger and press this point in and slightly downward instead of straight in to choke yourself. This is called Conception Vessel 22 or CV 22.
気舎 (ST 11) – The next one is in the depression right above the collar bone next to the ropy front neck muscle. This is called Stomach 11 or ST 11. It’s three finger widths away from the last one. You can press these points on both sides at the same time.
巨闕 (CV 14) – The next one is the solar plexus. It’s three finger width below the tip of the sternum. This is called Conception Vessel 14 or CV 14. Gently press with the middle finger supported by the index and ring finger and slightly bend forward.
Press these points for one minute as you breathe deeply. Be careful not to press too hard since this is a delicate area.
I hope this is helpful. Thanks for watching. I’ll see you back next week. Make it a great week. Feel free to comment below and please don’t forget to subscribe.
