Acupressure points for insomnia
Today I’m going to share some acupressure points for insomnia. It’s important to know why you can’t sleep. Is it coming from a certain medical condition please seek help from medical professionals. If it’s simply from stress, try these acupressure points to help you sleep.
• Top of head (GV 20) – Draw a line from the top of the ears. Soft spot that gives you a distinct sensation. Press downward with the weight of the hands
• “Peaceful Sleep” point – One thumb below mastoid process (bone behind the ear) on the neck muscle (sternocleidomastoid). Stimulate with thumbs by pressing or gently circling them.
• Middle of the heel – stimulate with a golf ball
Stimulate these points as you breathe deeply for one minute. Of course, it’s very important to get a professional massage so you can completely relax.
