This week I will show you an acupressure point for diabetes to lower your blood sugar level.
I have shared acupressure points for diabetes before but I recently came across a Japanese body worker who treats patients with diabetes using a different acupressure point. There is only one and it’s very simple. If you have diabetes or pre-diabetes and want to lower your blood sugar level, I would add this to your routine.
Sit with your knee bent 90 degrees. The acupressure point is located on your left thigh in the center between the groin and the knee and the center between both sides. You will feel pain when the right point is pressed if you have diabetes. Once you find the point, overlap your thumbs and lean in to press it for three seconds using your body weight and release. Repeat this one to three times a day and do it for at least a week. That’s it. How simple is that. It is just on the left thigh. No need to do it on the right thigh.
This point activates pancreas and pancreas is the one that releases insulin which helps to lower the blood sugar level.
He says he had his patients with diabetes aged between 60 and 70 try this for a week and 10 out 10 lowered the blood sugar level.
He also says this point appears only when the knee is bent 90 degrees and not when your leg is extended or when you sit on your knees with your knees bent more than 90 degrees.
He also has a simple leg exercise to help lower blood sugar levels. Do this in conjuction with this acupressure point:
Hope this helps you lower your blood sugar level.
