Acupressure Points for Hemorrhoids (Piles)

Per multiple viewers’ requests, this week I’m going to show you acupressure points for hemorrhoids also known as piles. Press these points for one minute as you breathe deeply.

長強 GV1 – The first one is right under the tailbone between the tailbone and anus. This is called Governing Vessel 1 or GV 1. Press it with your fingertip.

会陽 UB35 – The next ones are half your thumb width next to the tip of the tailbone on both sides. These are called Urinary Bladder 35 or UB 35. This point is very hard to press so once you find the point, it’s easier to sit on a golf ball to stimulate this point one side at a time.

二白穴 – The next one is not on the major meridian but the point is called “two whites.” It’s five finger width from the inner wrist crease. You feel the big tendon. If you feel two tendons it’s the one on the thumb side. It’s on both sides of this big tendon. So you have two on each arm for the total of four. Press each point separately with a hooked thumb.

会陰点 Perineum – The last and the easiest one is called perineum point but it’s actually on your hand, not down there. It’s on your pinky on the second joint on the ring finger side at the end of the crease when you bend it. Massage this point by pinching the second joint of the pinky.

I hope this is helpful!
