Valentine’s Day Foot Massage (Massage Monday #485)

Since the Valentine’s Day is this Friday, this week I’m going to show some foot massage moves to give to your partner.

In this video I’m demonstrating on the ground but it may be easier to access if the receiver is lying with the feet at the edge of the bed, and you pull up a chair to the bed and access the feet that way.

Since there are some gliding strokes, I recommend using a lotion or oil for a better glide and avoid burning skin. Hope you enjoy these foot massages.

Sit by the receiver’s foot. Using both hands, glide the top of the foot. You can also glide the sole with your thumbs. Here’s the same move from another angle. Double up your thumbs for more stability but use the body weight to press. If the receiver is super ticklish, you can skip this part.

You can also go up to the calf muscles. Or even all the way to the knee.

Grab a foot and squeeze like a sponge and knead alternating way one at a time on the left side then right side. Move up and down the foot. Use your torso to save your hands. Do not dig your fingernails into the sole because it may get very ticklish to the receiver.

Spread the top of the foot using the base of the thumbs as you move up and down the foot. Use your body weight for more pressure. Do not dig your fingernails into the sole. It may get very ticklish to the receiver.

Then, spread the bottom of the foot using the base of the thumbs and the rest of the fingers as you move up and down the foot. Repeat on the other foot.

I also have a playlist of couples massage moves and techniques. I’m going to put the link here so you can use it on the Valentine’s Day.
